Student Nurse Discounts,
Cashback & Smart Savings
Practical student discounts, cashback on planned purchases, and worthwhile services chosen to help your money go further during nursing school.
Let’s be honest: training to be a nurse is expensive. Your loan has to stretch around placement travel, uniform, textbooks, food, and everything else that comes with university life.
This is where I collect offers, tools and practical services that I believe are genuinely worth considering. Some can help you save money, some make placement a little easier, and some are useful when you need a break from nursing revision.
A promise: I only add something here if I would genuinely recommend it to a student I was mentoring. I consider student value, price, reliability, returns, and whether it makes nursing school or placement easier—not just the commission.
How I choose recommendations
The aim is to save students time and money—not to fill the page with products they do not need.
Actually useful
It must solve a genuine student-nurse problem: placement, studying, travel, budgeting, wellbeing or preparing for long shifts.
Fair value
I look at price, student discounts, usefulness, delivery, cancellation terms and returns—not simply the commission offered.
Clear and honest
Affiliate links are disclosed. I do not recommend products that make unrealistic clinical, wellbeing or academic claims.

Audiobooks for commutes and downtime
If a long placement commute or a quiet evening calls for something lower effort than another textbook, an audiobook or podcast membership may be useful.
- Listen to nonfiction, fiction, podcasts and audiobooks on long commutes or days off.
- Use it for wellbeing, motivation or general learning—without pretending it replaces university teaching or clinical guidance.
- Review the provider’s current membership terms, trial conditions and cancellation policy before joining.

Check for cashback before planned online purchases
Cashback is not a reason to buy things you do not need. But when you already plan to buy online, it can be worth checking whether a retailer has a cashback offer first.
- Joining is free, and participating retailers may offer cashback on eligible purchases.
- Useful categories may include textbooks, travel, insurance, beauty, tech or household purchases—depending on the available retailers.
- Cashback rates, tracking, exclusions and payment times vary, so always read the offer terms before you buy.
What it costs: Joining is free. Cashback is not guaranteed and depends on eligible tracked purchases and each retailer’s terms.
Offer last checked: 9 October 2026. Retailers, rates and eligibility can change.

Some links on this page are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This supports TheStudentNurse.co.uk and helps keep its learning resources free to access without display advertising. I do not let commission decide what appears here, and I remove offers that no longer represent good student value. Always check the provider’s latest price, eligibility and terms before purchasing or signing up.
